Red5Plugin Installation Instructions
Prerequisite Software: You must use the JEE distribution of Eclipse. The standard Java distribution will not work.
Here you will find a screenshot tour of the Red5Plugin installation process in Eclipse 3.x. These particular screens were captured in Eclipse 3.4 running on Mac OSX.
Install Red5Plugin in Eclipse 3.x. If you are using Eclipse 3.3 or Flex Builder 3 the instructions may differ.
Compatibility Update: Red5Plugin has been verified to work in Eclipse Galileo 3.5
This screen is showing the New Remote Site dialog, filled in with the correct information to install Subclipse

Step 2:
Add the update site to the list of Available Software.
Eclipse 3.3/Flex Builder We recommend also selecting "Ganymede Discovery site" and "The Eclipse Project Updates" from the list before clicking 'next'. When you select Red5Plugin you should be able to click "select required" and all the dependencies should be selected automatically.

This screenshot show the screen as it initially comes up. In this case you will need to change the radio button to indicate that this is a new install.

Step 3:
Select the Red5Plugin Feature and click the "Install" button to the right.
Step 4:
Click Next, accept the License and install the Plugin.

Eclipse needs to be restarted after installing Red5Plugin. Install screen Step 12:
